SchoolDraw — Lottery Rules & Terms and Conditions

Demo content. This is example wording shown in the SchoolDraw showcase. A live club would review and adapt these terms with its own council before publishing. This is not legal advice.

1. What is SchoolDraw?

SchoolDraw is a monthly subscription lottery run by Anytown Primary Parent Council to raise funds for Anytown Primary School, Anytown, United Kingdom. The lottery operates under a small-society lottery licence granted by Example Council. All money raised (after prizes and costs) goes directly to support the school.

2. Who can enter?

You must be 18 years old or over to enter SchoolDraw. Entry is open to anyone meeting this age requirement, including parents, school staff, and supporters of the school.

3. Entry and price

4. Deadline for entry

Entries must be paid for before the draw date in that month to be eligible. Because a first Direct Debit can take around 6 working days to clear, a payment received after the draw date will be entered in the following month's draw.

5. The draw

6. Prizes

Three winners are drawn each month:

Total prize pool: 50% of that month's gross entry income.

Remaining funds: The other 50% goes to Anytown Primary Parent Council for school expenses. (This meets the statutory minimum requirement of at least 20% of income going to the good cause.)

7. How winners are paid

8. Cancelling your subscription

9. Data protection

Your personal data (name, email, payment details) is collected and kept only to run the lottery, process payments, and contact winners. For full details of how your data is used, stored, and your rights, please see our Privacy Notice.

10. Responsible play

SchoolDraw is a fun way to support our school. If you have any concerns about lottery play or have questions, please contact hello@schooldraw.co.uk. Please gamble responsibly.
